For my birthday this year I decided to have a 'blast from the past' party. It was so fun!! The decade was '85-'95 and we all dressed up and brought pictures of us from that decade. What fun!
Some of the highlights of the night were, banana clips, bangs, bangs and more bangs, guys with huge diamond stud earrings, pegged pant legs, colored socks worn together, New Kids on the Block, white keds, flannel shirts, concert t-shirts, hot pink and skinny ties.
It was so fun each time someone came in to see what they were wearing. Looking at pictures of us was great and Kim brought some of her Teen magazines from '89 and that was almost scary!!
Tamzen and Lee had a cake made for me with a picture of Steve and I when we were dating scanned on the top of the cake. Yes, Steve has a perm! and I really love my white tights with black pumps!! Oh, those were the days.
It ended up being a great party, the music was great, the food was yummy and the friends were AWESOME!!

That was one of the most fun parties I have been to in a while. Seeing everyone reliving their "glory days" was fun and it was a great mix of people. Happy birthday and thanks for sharing it with us.
