Party time

Our neighbor Gracie had her birthday party at the Focus on the Family Center. They have a huge indoor playground. The girls had a great time. We are so lucky to have four little girls on our street that are Lizzie's age. They are great friends.

Horseback riding

Sam, Steve, Mark and Cassidy went horsback riding at the Air Force Academy. After they came back the insturctor at the stables let them ride on a horse they were training. Sam was in heaven. She hardly slept the night before and was up at the crack of dawn. It was a fun time for the girls to have a day with their daddys. Mark was excited to wear his 'shirt with the bib!!'

walking to school

The kids and I started walking to school the first day of school, and now we have three other families that walk with us. It's so fun, and it's nice for the mom's to have social time every morning.

Ready for school

Lizzie got new glasses yesterday. this is only her second pair since she was 15 months old, we are hoping that trend continues!!! She loves to eat cereal out of a bag while we walk the kids to school in the morning. She was in charge of snacks for pre-school today, the highlight of her week!!!!

opening day of soccer

Trey and Sam started soccer today. They did GREAT!! I was so proud of Sam, she really is aggressive. She played defense and she was a WALL!!! Trey played offense today and was very close to scoring today, maybe next week!! It was a beautiful day (thankfully!!) and Lizzie was great even after spending three hours doing soccer today. It was fun for me to work on my farmers tan!!

our house

hiking Snowbird with cousins

Helen Hunt Falls

It was the 4th of July and we decided to venture out. We hiked this beautiful falls. There is a board at the visitor's center where people put a pin on a map of where there are from. There were not any from Rhode Island, shocking!!! We were excited to be the very first ones!!! Sam is quite the cheese-ball!!!

Bike Parade

Our block has a party and bike parade every 4th of July, we moved in just in time for the fun.

Grandma and Grandpa Leishman came to visit us in our new home!!!

The kids and Mom went to The North Pole with the Olsen's. It's a cute little amusement park just for little kids at the base of Pikes Peak. It was fun because Lizzie got to go on most of the rides. Unfortunately Mommy had to ride one with her and after that Mom was done!! Yucky!!

Pikes Peak

We made the drive up Pike's Peak. WOW!!! 14,112 feet above sea level. Sam was a nervous wreck!!! It was so cold and windy on top, but it was amazing we could see to Kansas I think. We could see the general area where our house was, and it was so beautiful.
