Sam's class play

The fourth and fifth grade classes did a play this year that talked about ancient civilizations. Sam was in the Egypt section. She played the skeleton 'Lucy'. She woke up and took the modern day children on a tour of ancient Egypt. There were also parts from china. Sam's two best friends, Brody played a Roman soldier and Issac was king Tut. It was such a cute play with great music and the kids all did a great job. It's sad that this will be her last year with little plays like this. She is growing up so fast!!

Ice fishing at Farrish Winter Park

We had a great time with our ward at Farrish. Trey had a goal to catch a fish before we left, unfortunately he didn't catch one. But some of the other boys in the ward did. Lizzie had been with Sam and didn't know that we had two fish by us. She came walking over and we told her that Payton had caught a fish and pointed to it. It was buried under some snow and it hadn't moved at all, until Lizzie got there. It started moving and the tail and body came out of the snow,...well, Lizzie about crawled out of her skin. she screamed and started dancing around and wouldn't let us put her down for the rest of the time we were fishing. It was so funny! Fishing was her favorite part of the day she said later, but just not actually catching the fish!!

Farrish Winter Park

Our ward goes up in the mountains every year and rents an outdoor area. there is sledding hills and a frozen pond. The kids had a great time going down the hills. They are huge hills and you go forever. The worst part was having to hike back up the hill after you sled all the way down.
